All of our tours embrace an ecumenical audience. Our trips have a wide scope of Christian and non-Christian participants so you will usually find a wide range of travelers from different backgrounds and ages. The group members tend to become great friends, not only because they share wonderful experiences together, but also because they share a common philosophy about what group travel should be like.

Most of our trips do have a single supplement. There are times when we can place you with another like minded individual under our ‘share’ program. Although is not guaranteed at time of booking we often have great success in pairing travelers together.

Unfortunately, due to privacy laws, we are unable to provide you with any information on passengers booked on the tour. Don’t worry, it takes no time at all to get to know the people on your trip and, 99% of the time our passengers get along fabulously.

It is a general rule that clients must be a minimum of 13 years of age. All children between 13 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult, and the ratio must be one adult to each child under 17. All inquiries with respect to children are subject to review and approval by Christian Journeys.

We recommend that you wear minimal jewelry and that you keep valuable items safely stored. Always keep a photocopy of your passport, airline tickets and a record of your travelers’ checks and credit card numbers separate from where you keep the originals.

Backpacks or soft duffel bags are highly recommended for any adventure tour. Hard suitcases are just a nightmare when you are trying to fit your luggage into a small vehicle or cubicle, along with the rest of the group’s. You will be responsible for carrying your own luggage so don’t make it too heavy! For hikes, such as the Inca Trail, you will have the opportunity to store your regular luggage in the hotel where you will be staying before and after the hike.
